Team Lead, Enterprise Applications
Job Purpose :
As a Team Lead, Enterprise Applications, you will lead a diverse team to support, maintain, and document Microsoft technologies that support the organization’s business processes and employee productivity, while ensuring security. You will have in-depth knowledge of on-prem Active Directory (AD), Azure AD, servers, clients, email, Microsoft Teams, and cloud technologies, along with experience in new implementation projects.
Key Responsibilities :
- Serve as the SME for Windows Server OS architecture and the Active Directory Domain in a mission-critical enterprise production environment.
- Provide Tier 2/3 support for troubleshooting and diagnosing issues in hybrid environments (on-premise and cloud).
- Work closely with internal and external senior technical engineers to design solutions or troubleshoot technical issues.
- Independently research and resolve highly complex technical problems.
- Continuously monitor and mitigate security vulnerabilities within the Microsoft infrastructure.
- Perform daily and weekly maintenance, proactively actioning alerts from monitoring systems.
- Manage MS subscriptions, licenses, and identity management, and create automated processes to enhance efficiency using PowerShell and Microsoft Graph API.
- Adhere to ITIL concepts, including Change Management, when making changes to key production systems.
- Assist with the creation of documentation, system configurations, and Standard Operation Manuals.
- Provide after-hours support for critical systems and collaborate with partners across different time zones.
Desired Experience and Knowledge :
- Experience working with Microsoft Identity technologies, including Active Directory, Windows File Services, and Group Policies.
- Expert knowledge of AD, ADFS, PKI, DNS, DHCP, and related services in a Windows Server landscape.
- Experience with Microsoft Exchange, VMware, and Virtualization technologies.
- Strong understanding of infrastructure, networking fundamentals, and monitoring best practices.
Essential Requirements :
- 5+ years of IT experience, with at least 3-5 years working with Microsoft Identity technologies.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and a proven track record of progressive responsibility.
- Team player with leadership and communication skills, able to collaborate across global teams.
- Self-motivated with attention to detail and strong decision-making abilities.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and deliver results with a focus on quality.
