Mr. Godfrey Sebaana is the Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of Diamond Trust Bank Uganda Ltd. He is a seasoned banker with over 23 years’ experience in the banking industry in Uganda and Tanzania. Prior to joining Diamond Trust Bank, Godfrey was the Executive Director and Head Corporate, Commercial, and Institutional banking at Standard Chartered Bank Uganda.

During his extensive career, he has developed a broad experience in areas ranging from mergers and acquisitions, corporate advisory, and financial institutions management, across various industry segments including global and local corporates, SMEs, and Retail. Mr. Sebaana is a qualified accountant (ACCA) and holds a Master’s degree in business administration (MBA) from Heriot- Watt University Edinburgh Business school.

Mbabazi. K. Emejeit was appointed as the Executive Director of Diamond Trust Bank Uganda Limited in February 2021. Before this appointment, Mbabazi served as DTB’s Head of Legal and Company Secretary since March 2015. Prior to this appointment, she held the position of Head of Legal & Company Secretary at United Bank for Africa (UBA) Uganda from February 2010.

Before joining UBA, she worked in the Legal and Credit Departments at Stanbic Bank Uganda Limited and was an Associate at Magezi, Ibale & Co. Advocates. She holds an LLM (University of Cape Town), LLB (Hons) MUK, LP (LDC) and is a practicing Advocate of the High Court of Uganda and all other courts subordinate thereto. She also has over ten years’ experience in banking.

Joanita E. Aber was appointed as Head of Legal and Company Secretary in July 2023. She has over 15 years’ experience as an In-house Lawyer in the Banking Industry. She is a Chartered Governance Professional and an Advocate of the High Court of Uganda and all other Courts subordinate thereto.

She previously held the position of Company Secretary and Head of Legal at United Bank for Africa (Uganda) Limited and various positions in the Legal Department of Housing Finance Bank Limited.

She holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice from the Law Development Centre and an LLB (Hons) Degree from Makerere University.

Mr. Francis Gathitu was appointed as the Bank’s Head of Finance in January 2016. Before joining DTBU, he worked in the Finance Department at Diamond Trust Bank Kenya Limited for five and a half years. Mr. Francis previously worked as an auditor at Deloitte & Touche. He has over thirteen years’ experience in accountancy and banking. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (majoring in Finance) and is a qualified Certified Public Accountant of Kenya (ICPAK). He is very resourceful in guiding on matters of finance and accounting.

A Chartered accountant-ACCA with over 20 years’ experience spanning different multinational companies like Uganda Breweries Limited (a part of Diageo plc) and Standard Chartered Bank (a part of Standard Chartered Bank PLC).

The bulk of these years have majorly been in the Corporate Banking Sector, playing a financial advisory role to many large corporates in Uganda.

An ardent Rotarian who focuses his free time on mentoring the boy child through the Boys Mentorship Program, enjoys travelling to new destinations and doing community-based work as a way of giving back to society

Parminder is a senior treasurer with 25 years of rich experience in global financial markets. Having worked in leadership positions in treasuries in India, Singapore, Hong Kong and South Africa with the State Bank of India, Mr. Singh comes with deep knowledge of all asset classes and exposure to major financial centers.

Parminder was appointed as Head of Treasury - Diamond Trust Bank Uganda Limited (DTBU) in May 2023. Prior to assuming this role, Mr. Singh has held positions of Chief Investment Officer, Chief Financial Officer and Head of Treasury within the State Bank of India group. He holds an M.B.A. (Finance) degree from IISWBM, University of Calcutta, PB (SA) from the Institute of Bankers, South Africa and CAIIB from the Indian Institute of Bankers. Mr. Singh has worked with 7 regulators, including MAS, HKMA, SARB, RBI, IRDAI, SEBI and BOU so far.

Francis Louis Kibuuka joined the bank as Senior Manager Risk in April 2015 and was subsequently appointed as Head of Compliance of Diamond Trust Bank Uganda Limited in August 2016. Before joining the bank, Francis worked with Ernst & Young UK, Cambridge office, in the audit department for one year and before that, he worked with Deloitte LLP UK for one and a half years and Ernst & Young Uganda for eight years, still in the respective audit departments. He has over fifteen years of professional experience in accountancy. Francis is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants and is also a member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Uganda (ICPAU). He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration and Management Degree from Uganda Martyrs University, Nkozi.

A senior Human Resources expert with 13 years in service, Raymond K. Byamah was appointed Head of Human Resources of Diamond Trust Bank in February 2022. Prior to this appointment, he worked as Head of Human Resources at NCBA Bank Uganda and in similar roles in the Banking industry.

Raymond is a Certified Human Resources Manager, he holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Social Sciences from Makerere University.

Francis is a seasoned banker who has worked for several banks in Uganda with a span of over 15 years as Head of Internal Audit.  Francis holds an MBA from UMI and a B.com from Makerere University, Kampala. He is a certified public accountant of Uganda, an FCCA, a certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) and a certified Internal Auditor (CIA).

He is a member of the Institute of Internal Auditors Uganda, a member of the ICPAU and a member of the ACCA. Francis is passionate about fighting fraud and improving governance frameworks and controls.  He is the current chair of the Frauds and Forgeries Committee of the Uganda Bankers Association (UBA).

Ricson is a seasoned risk management executive with an excellent banking experience of 24 years. He has worked in both, business development and internal control. He has spent over 16 years at a senior management level, specializing in control functions of Internal Audit, Compliance and Risk Management.

Before joining DTB Uganda, he worked with 5 big banking groups including Stanbic, Barclays, and Bank of Africa.  While at Stanbic, he completed many international assignments in 5 African countries, broadening his professional and cultural experiences.

He has a proven track record of successfully implementing ERM and anti-fraud practices. Ricson participated in the development of industry standards for combating fraud. In 2022, he concurrently served as the vice chairman for the UBA Fraud Committee and was the chairman for UBA Risk Management Committee.

He is a qualified chartered account (ACCA, UK) and a certified associate in Risk Management (ARM, USA). He is a Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), and a Certified Risk and Control Self-Assessor (CCSA). He holds a BSc (Hons) Applied Accounting from Oxford Brookes (UK), and a bachelor's degree in commerce (Bhopal, India).

Mr. Andrew Musanje was appointed Head of Retail Banking in March 2025. A distinguished and dynamic banking professional, Mr. Musanje brings over 16 years of progressive experience in the financial services sector, having begun his career in 2008 and steadily advanced through a series of operational, managerial, and strategic leadership roles.

Over the years, he has built a reputation for operational excellence, transformational leadership, and strategic insight across key banking functions. His extensive experience spans branch management, agent banking, regional oversight, and retail banking leadership. Prior to assuming his current role, he served with distinction as Head of Branches and Alternate Channels, Regional Manager, Head of Agent Banking, and Branch Manager at Diamond Trust Bank Uganda consistently demonstrating exceptional performance and a deep commitment to service delivery.

He holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration (MBA) and a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration (BBA) from Makerere University. His academic achievements are further reinforced by advanced leadership training from Inspired Leaders International, equipping him with modern leadership capabilities aligned with global best practices.

Mr. Musanje continues to play a pivotal role in shaping DTB Uganda’s retail banking agenda driving customer centric innovation, expanding access to financial services, and championing excellence across the bank’s retail network.
